Outdoor adventures
for nature wildlings in the heart of the
Ashdown Forest
Wild & Green offers nature-based activities for children (and adults!) of all ages. Explore a world without walls at sessions that are enriching, playful and great fun.
Studies show that being in nature keeps us happy, healthy and more able to tackle whatever life throws at us.
Forest School is a gentle learning approach - a way to connect with nature and with each other. Across the age groups we notice improvements in body awareness, self-esteem, resilience and confidence as participants explore the edge of their comfort zone. We see so much creativity at play, and have loads of fun in the process!
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES IN A MAGICAL SETTING
You can find us in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, where our broadleaf woodland nestles next to a meadow of soft wild grasses, a place to soak up the magic that nature has to offer.
In our wild, green space, kids can be kids and adults can re-discover some of the joys (and benefits) of being a kid!
A FOREST SCHOOL FOR ALL
From tots to teens and beyond, Forest School is inclusive and welcoming of all ages and abilities.
We currently offer Holiday Club for primary-age children, home education and family workshops. Our Forest Schools programmes are well suited to those with special needs and limited access to the outdoors.
We are keen to build our links to other practitioners and networks, combining skills and resources.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions are tailored to age and experience. Fun in their own right, these activities help develop essential life skills (we call it invisible learning).
The day alternates between times of structure, space for play, and time to “just be.”
There’s loads to do, so no two days will ever be the same!
